This New “Puzzle Bowl” Could Save Your Dog’s Life — And Save You From $4,000+ In Veterinary Costs!

At pet pals, we're more than just writers—we're pet enthusiasts on a quest to uncover the best products for your furry friends. With a focus on innovation, we seek out solutions that improve the happiness and health of your pets.

If your dog eats quickly, I urge you to read my story ASAP — it could save your dog’s life.

My dog Charlie has a “little quirk” that almost cost him his life.

The good news is he’s alive and well as I write this.

The bad news is I was stuck with a $4,000 vet bill after the dust settled.

See, while human beings can scarf down food and get away with just a tummy ache, dogs don’t work that way.

For dogs, eating too quickly can cause a dangerous condition called “canine bloat”...

And no, it’s NOT the same bloating we humans get.

It’s deadly — and it can happen quickly.

When a dog eats too fast, the food fills their stomach in an uneven manner. This, along with gas buildup, causes their intestines to twist.

And when their intestines twist, nothing — not food, water, or even gas — can pass through and escape, leading to extreme pain that can suddenly become life-threatening.

If you’re lucky, like we were, you catch it in time and your dog survives. But if you’re like thousands of owners in the United States alone every single year, your beloved pup can pass away… simply from “wolfing” down their food.

In fact, bloat is so dangerous (and sadly, common) that it’s estimated to be the second leading cause of death among canines.¹

So, when we went to pick Charlie up from the vet after his surgery, we knew we had to make a change. Our vet said if this happened again, we might not be able to save him. We couldn’t afford to risk another bloat episode…either for Charlie’s sake or our finances.

Bloat Was Going to Happen Again If We Didn’t Make a Change

When the vet pulled me aside and told me he had a potential solution to Charlie’s eating problem, I was a little skeptical.

It wasn’t because I don’t trust my vet.

It’s because I had just spent $4,000 I didn’t really have. So when the vet said, “Let me show you something that could help,” it sounded like it was about to cost me another thousand bucks…

But when he pulled out his phone and started scrolling through photos of his own dog, I was curious.

He finally landed on a photo of his pup sitting by what looked like a food dish, but it wasn’t like any food dish I’d ever seen.

The bowl had these raised sections and grooves all over it, kind of like a “mini obstacle course for food”.

It was clever, and nothing like the simple dishes I had at home. And it made sense – a bowl like that could really slow him down and maybe help with his bloat problem.

But still, there was the price. I was a little anxious when I said, “It looks amazing, but after this bill…”

My vet shook his head. “I wouldn’t recommend it if it were out of your budget, I promise. It’s called Super Feedy, and it makes mealtime safer for your pup — plus, it costs less than a bag of dog food!”

That was all I needed to hear. The minute I got home I ordered one… and we’re SO happy we did!

What Is The Super Feedy Slow Feeder?

The Super Feedy is a new 4-in-1 slow feeding dog bowl that guarantees your dog always eats at a slow, healthy pace.

The bowl is full of curves, ridges, and mounds that create a maze for your dog’s food, which prevents bloat from the moment you start using it.

Super Feedy works with all types of food, both dry and wet — and best of all, it makes mealtime fun for your pup!

When it arrived, the first thing I noticed is that it’s sturdier than I expected, with a large base that has a strong suction cup to keep it in place.

Charlie was so excited when I set it down — he immediately ran over and quickly got into it, nudging and licking his way through the maze…

But even with his furious pace, it took Charlie a full 5 minutes to eat his food! Compared to his normal 30 seconds, that’s incredible.

I was relieved, knowing this could help prevent another scary incident of bloat. In fact, I think I could hear my bank account sighing in relief!

Thanks to Super Feedy, We Never Worry About Bloat Anymore — And Charlie’s Actually Tasting His Dinners!

Three months flew by with Charlie using Super Feedy, and it was time for his follow-up vet visit. As the vet examined him, I was so relieved that he only had positive feedback.

"He's in excellent shape,"
our vet said. "This is what proper nutrient absorption looks like. That slow feeder really helped, huh?”

The vet explained that, beyond just beating bloat before it could start, the slower eating pace allowed his body to process food more efficiently — which improved his overall health. We just wanted to prevent bloat, so that was a very pleasant bonus!

Now, six months on, Charlie hasn’t had any bloat episodes.
He’s a shinier, healthier, happier dog, and mealtimes are mentally stimulating for him, too.

And the peace of mind I get knowing I won’t lose my best friend to something I could have easily prevented? It’s priceless.

What Makes Super Feedy Stand Out Among the Slow Feeder Pack?

If you have dogs, you may have seen a slow feeder before… and maybe you’ve even tried one, but it didn’t work. That’s because a lot of the options out there can actually do more harm than good.

Slow feeders are filled with nooks and crannies — that’s the whole point. It’s effective, but it also makes cleaning them a chore. And if you don’t clean them properly, you’re risking bacteria and mold buildup.

That’s one of the reasons Super Feedy is such a breakthrough — it goes right in the dishwasher, so you’ll never miss food residue or risk your pup’s health.

Another shortcoming of other puzzle feeders is how quickly dogs figure out the puzzle. Dogs are extremely intelligent, and they get bored quickly.

Super Feedy’s 4-in-1 puzzle function
means you can switch up the pattern of their food bowl every day, keeping things fresh and entertained.

One other standout feature, and one of the best for Charlie, is the suction cup that secures the feeder to the floor. Charlie’s big and stubborn, which often leads to him flipping his food bowl over. With Super Feedy, he can’t move it an inch!

Very good slow feed bowl

“We have used a range of slow feeders, many more attractive than Super Feedy. But the dogs engage with it, and the space between raised sections makes it easier to put food in and to get a regular brush in for cleaning. None of our dogs have more than 3 cups of food in one go, so we wish they were smaller. However they stack easily which makes carrying a few bowls easier, and having the lick mat as a lid for packing food for trips is a great idea. We have one dog who is not interested in food and needs all night to eat a bowl. We gave him a super feedy to engage him in hunting for the food and be able to access it pretty easily, and aince then he has put on weight and his bowl is close to empty each morning.”

Love It

“The Super Feedy bowls are fantastic we now have six. We use 3 in the house and got 3 more so have permanently in our Motorhome. The design is great because we feed raw which is wetter than kibble but with the high sides there are no leakages or spills. Also the suction cups on the bottom stop the bowls being pushed all around the floor. I love them and they slow 3 Labrador inhalers down reducing their chance of getting bloat so instead of taking 30 seconds to eat their dinner it takes them 8 minutes.”

25 minutes of worthwhile frustration!

“The aim of this purchase was to slow our Golden Retriever Rupert down…in a “normal” bowl the average eat time was less than 60 seconds…and then he’d raid his sister’s bowl (who is a slow eater…and wouldn’t resist him stealing her food). Now breakfast takes about 25 minutes as he works his way into every corner! No need to clean in the dishwasher…it’s immaculate after his done. Well worth the investment.”

Our favourite slow feeder bowl!

“Definitely slows down our boy Bruce from guzzling his meals. With other slow feeders he typically finishes his food within a few minutes but with the Superfeedy bowl because of the depth of the bowl, he now takes 8-10 minutes! We also love how the bottom of the bowl has a suction cup to prevent the bowl sliding around on the floor! It's very clever and I honestly can't fault it :)”

From rocket launcher to slow and steady tortoise.

From pups that don’t take a breath gobbling down their dinner to taking time and using their brain to figure out how to get each piece of food. It’s a winner all round; some extra enrichment for the pups with no extra effort for the humans!

The Final Verdict? Super Feedy Has a Permanent Place In Our Home.

I can't imagine Charlie's life without Super Feedy. The truth is that he might not be alive at all without it. The peace of mind it brings, knowing Charlie is eating healthily and safely, is worth its weight in gold to our family.

And after seeing the positive changes in Charlie’s health, I’ll never stop singing Super Feedy’s praises. If my story helps prevent even one premature death, it will be totally worth it.

If your dog eats quickly — or if you’d simply like to make their mealtime healthier and more fun — then I highly recommend you get your beloved 4-legged friend a Super Feedy ASAP!
